St. Lucia emerged Champions of the 2018/19 WINLOTT INC. Windward Islands U15 tournament played from December 10 – 17, 2018.

The home team amassed twenty-four (24) points, having won four (4) out of six (6) matches.  The tournament came down to an exciting climax on the final day with St. Lucia tied with Grenada on eighteen (18) points.  In what was a winner takes all situation at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (DSCG), the St. Lucia boys triumphed by seven wickets (7) against the highly fancied Grenada team.

Top Performers

In a tournament dominated by bowlers, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Reshawn Lewis was the star amassing an aggregate of 187 runs including a match winning 111 against Grenada.  The versatile Lewis also copped the most dismissals as a wicketkeeper with 12 catches and 2 stumpings.

Grenada’s leg spinner Kervyn Gangadeen captured 16 wickets including a best of 5 wickets for 8 runs against Champions St. Lucia to be the top bowler
