Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – Dream 11 Vincy Premier League (VPL) T10 is Back! The 5th edition will be played at the Arnos Vale Playing Field from April 10 – 23, 2023.

The theme for the upcoming edition is Cricket, Our Way! Previous editions of VPL exhibited exciting cricket and an electrifying atmosphere despite being staged during the pandemic.  The VPL Finals have been spectacles witnessed by thousands of spectators.

For the upcoming edition, plans are afoot to incorporate more off-the-field activities to complement the exciting cricket on the field. Some of these will be announced at the Launch and player draft event on February 27, 2023, at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.

Acting President of SVG Cricket Association, Miles Bascombe, has suggested an awe-inspiring return. “Yes, the VPL is back! Planning is in the advanced stage, we have assembled a purpose-driven committee determined to elevate the VPL experience for all stakeholders. An amazing sporting experience awaits Vincentians,” said Mr. Bascombe.

There have already been changes ahead of the keenly anticipated tournament. Management of the six teams have been reshuffled. Additionally, each franchise can now preselect up to five players, with possible transfers before the draft.

Captain Desron Maloney and his La Soufriere Hikers will seek to defend their championship. The other captains, Kesrick Williams (Botanical Gardens Rangers), Asif Hooper (Grenadines Divers), Gidron Pope (Fort Charlotte Strikers), Sunil Ambris (Salt Pond Breakers), and Romano Pierre (Dark View Explorers) will try to best the Hikers in this edition.
