Arnos Vale, St. Vincent – Eight teams will jostle for the remaining five quarter finals spots when the preliminary round of the NLA Neil Williams T20 cricket competition continues this weekend.
Police One can cop one of the two undetermined final eight places in Group A with wins in their two matches this weekend. On Saturday Police One meet Dominic Sutherland Lloyd Lewis Memorial Cricket Team at Park Hill from 2:00pm, then on Sunday they will lock horns with the defending champions Flow Rivals also at Park Hill from 2:00pm.
Also with a hope of securing the other quarter finals berth from Group A would be Victors One and Strike Eagles. They both clash at the Sion Hill Playing Field on Sunday from 10:00am.
Preliminary round matches for Group A would be completed with the matchup between Flow Rivals and Dominic Sutherland Lloyd Lewis Memorial Cricket Team at Park Hill from 10:00am Sunday.
In Group B, victories in each of the matches for Pollard Investment North Windward and Police Two on the weekend take them into the knock out stage of the 2020 T20 edition. Pollard Investment North Windward take on Victors Two at Arnos Vale One on Saturday from 2:00pm, after which on Sunday from 10:00am, they battle another quarter finals hopeful, CJ MSDA Julius Anthony Northern Stars at Sion Hill.
Police Two on the other hand must get passed another final eight hopeful from Group B, Keegan’s Bequia XI, when they square off at Arnos Vale One on Sunday from 10:00am.
Also on Sunday, Flow Radcliffe who has already secured their knock out spot comes up against Victors Two at Arnos Vale One from 2:00pm.
The lone female T20 encounter down for decision this weekend will see Radcliffe Girls taking on CJ MSDA Julius Anthony Northern Girls in a battle for 3rd position in the female competition at Sion Hill. Saturday matches all begin at 2:00pm.
