Arnos Vale, St. Vincent – November 13, 2017 – SVG will host the 4th round of the Professional Cricket League (PCL) at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex from Thursday, 16th to Sunday, 19th November 2017. The PCL is the premier 4-day tournament for Cricket West Indies.

For this 4th round, Windward Islands Volcanoes will take on Barbados Pride. Both teams are looking to rebound after an average start and will be keen to come out with maximum points to catch up on tournament leader Guyana.

Despite a lean start for Volcanoes, their opening batsman Devon Smith continues to show his class at this level, with two unbeaten centuries thus far. Other key players for the Volcanoes in the upcoming encounter are Kirk Edwards, who will be playing against his countrymen, and captain Tyrone Theophile. The two exciting fast bowlers in Grenadian Sherman Lewis and homeboy Ray Jordan will be looking to impress on what is expected to be a nice bouncy wicket.

Barbados Pride has a new captain in West Indies A team skipper, Shamarh Brooks. His team will be boosted by West Indies players Ashley Nurse and Johnatan Carter, who similar to Smith got a century in his last innings.

The match time daily is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
