The SVG Cricket Association would like to invite persons interested in becoming a Cricket West Indies Certified LEVEL 1 coach to log on to any of the links provided below. The links allow applicants to sign up and complete for free, the mandatory online foundation course as a prerequisite for the LEVEL 1 Course.

The foundation course is structured into six modules, delivered entirely online and self-paced. Courses are delivered by EdApp, a fully-mobile platform which uses micro-learning methods to offer an engaging environment to enhance your learning journey, supporting your training and development in short, sharp bursts so you can learn whenever and wherever you are in the world.
Applicants must also complete the UNICEF Child Protection Course. Instructions to complete course is attached.

There is also a requirement for a Police Certificate of Character but NOT a prerequisite to do the foundation or LEVEL 1 course. However, persons completing the LEVEL 1 course would need to submit this document at a later date in order to receive the certificate.
Unfortunately, there are only 14 spaces remaining for the LEVEL 1 coaching programme. However, there is no limit to the amount that can do the foundation course as it is available at any time and only takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
The SVG Cricket Association reserves the right to decide the 14 selectees for the LEVEL 1 Course. The course will be free to successful applicants as the SVGCA will cover the allotted cost of US100.00 per person.
The face to face component for the LEVEL 1 course will be conducted on 18th & 19th of August for 9am – 5pm at the Arnos Sporting Complex. Lunch will be provided.
The online foundation course certificate and the UNICEF Child Course certificate must be submitted to the SVG Cricket Association by August 16th 2022 at email: office@svgcricket.org and copied to jmitcham@cricketwestindies.org
The SVGCA takes this opportunity to wish all applicants success and looks forward to seeing the impending benefits to coaches and children.
